Merlin Entertainments Group
Lichfields continues to work with Merlin Entertainments Group to enhance its offer of major London attractions, this time within the Grade II* listed County Hall. We have secured planning permission and listed building consents for SEALIFE London Aquarium, The London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London. Whilst respecting the unique qualities of the listed building, our work has ensured that the new modern attractions have found a deserving home on London’s South Bank. These attractions build on our planning work which secured permission for the permanent retention of the adjacent London Eye.
Our work with Merlin has helped to reinforce this part of London’s South Bank as a major tourist hub whilst being sensitive to the nearby World Heritage Site at the Palace of Westminster.
