The 2017 Autumn Budget, and the related housing and planning announcements, are this month’s headline news.
For transport, we also report on the new ‘Transforming Cities Fund’, the National Infrastructure Commission’s recommendations (and Government pledges) for the Cambridge-Milton Keynes-Oxford Arc, and the second West Midlands devolution deal.
On energy, we report on the launch of a call for evidence on how to reduce energy costs, the first solar farm to seek nationally significant infrastructure project approval, and the ‘Shale Wealth Fund’.
