Bristol’s Village Hotel open for business

The Village Hotel, Bristol opened for business at the end of 2018.  The hotel comprises 153 bedrooms, a cafe, swimming pool, gym and conference facilities. It is located in a prominent location on the A38 at Filton, and forms part of the wider ‘East Works’ site which formerly housed Rolls Royce.

Lichfields advised Village Resorts from start to finish on the outline and reserved matters stages. To support the initial outline application, a hotel and leisure needs assessment was prepared, as well as sequential analysis to justify the site choice for a hotel. Lichfields also prepared a Section 73 application, discharged various conditions and secured advertisement consent.
