Navigating economic recovery in the Solent

06 Oct 2020
Lichfields is delighted to support the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) shape its response to the Covid-19 pandemic through the development of a new Economic Recovery Plan for the area.
Setting out a three-stage approach for economic survival, stability and growth, the plan signifies the first step on a longer term journey for the Solent by 2050 to be the global leader in maritime and climate change adaptation, with towns and cities that are fantastic places to live and trade with.
It represents the latest client insight to draw on Lichfields’ Covid-19 Economic Recovery Framework which is being used to help LEPs and local partners across the country develop bespoke policy responses to this unprecedented period of economic disruption.

Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic and associated public health restrictions have had an immense impact on all our businesses and communities, we recognise that businesses are being impacted in different ways and on different timeframes. The Economic Recovery Plan will help shape our activity to support local businesses throughout each phase of their recovery.
