Lichfields shortlisted at Yorkshire Residential Property Awards

Lichfields is delighted that the Leeds Office has been shortlisted for Best Residential Planning Consultant of the Year at the 2021 Variety Yorkshire Residential Property Awards. The award recognises organisations that have consistently demonstrated excellence in its field between June 2019 and June 2021.
In this period, the office has continued to build on its tremendous portfolio of work. The team have progressed proposals for residential schemes of varying scales that will assist meeting the region’s housing needs. This includes planning permission for one of Yorkshire’s most high-profile residential schemes which compromised of a Secretary of State approval for 500 units in the Green Belt in Burley-in-Wharfedale for CEG. Other successes and schemes include a single ‘Grand Designs’ style dwelling in the Green Belt at Bardsey on behalf of KeyLand Developments, 700 units to the East of Otley working in consortium with Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire and Leeds City Council and a recent submission of a planning application for approximately 1,500 new homes and a range of supporting uses on land at Kirkstall Road in Leeds.
The winners will be announced at a black tie event taking place at New Dock Hall in Leeds on Thursday 14th October 2021.
