Newcastle office shortlisted for Specialist Property Consultancy of the Year
22 Apr 2024Lichfields is delighted to be shortlisted for Specialist Property Consultancy of the Year at the 2024 Insider North East Property Awards. The award recognises organisations that have made significant contributions to developments in planning, design, deliverability, and cost control throughout the previous year.
The office continues to play a key role across the North East by revitalising town centres, supporting health and wellbeing initiatives, advancing industry, and delivering much-needed residential schemes. In 2023 alone, Lichfields achieved significant milestones including securing permissions for 189,730 square meters of industrial and 8,700 square meters of commercial floorspaces, projects that generate 1.508 gigawatt hours of renewable energy (equivalent to power 480,000 homes) and 1,699 new homes. The office’s projects will generate over 12,780 construction jobs and create around 6,650 new employment opportunities upon completion which is a vital contribution to the continued growth and success of the region.
