Manchester office shortlisted for Planning Team of the Year
21 Mar 2025Lichfields is delighted to be shortlisted for Planning Team of the Year at the 2025 Insider North West Property Awards. The award recognises organisations that have made significant contributions to developments in planning, design, deliverability, and cost control throughout the previous year.
The office continues to play an key role delivering commercial developments across the North West. We act for both the public and private sectors in identifying the need of economic development (including data centres, strategic logistics, R&D etc.) business cases, and impact assessments. In 2024, successes include supporting future funding and investment for The Lowry theatre, helping it to maintain its position as a vital cultural asset for the region.
The office continues to support the ambitious development programme for McDonald’s in the region, providing planning and economic support. The team recently secured a resolution to grant for Encirc, a staggering 300 metre long, 44 metre high automated distribution centre in Cheshire.
The Manchester office of Lichfields continues to grow to serve client needs, with the recent promotion of Brian O’Connor to Senior Director after 15 years at the firm.
