Bethan Haynes

Bethan is a planner specialising in residential development and demographics. She plays a leading role in undertaking a variety of planning and housing need work including for elderly accommodation, student housing and affordable housing schemes (including first-time buyer housing), as well as viability work, settlement viability studies, socio-economic assessments, health impact assessments and economic benefit assessments. Bethan’s experience extends across all stages of the planning process from due diligence and site appraisals to planning applications and appeals.

Bethan works for a range of clients including Local Authorities, strategic land promotors and housebuilders, and has produced a wide range of evidence to support the local plan process, planning applications and appeals, including appearing at local plan examinations and giving evidence at appeal inquiries. Bethan joined Lichfields in 2014.
