Charlotte joined Lichfields London Office in August 2022 as a Planner within the major projects team. Prior to joining Lichfields, Charlotte worked as an Urban Design and Conservation Planner within a London Local Authority.
Her Local Authority work included the provision of heritage and urban design advice as a consultee on planning applications for major, minor, and strategic level development. Charlotte also managed and assessed Listed Building Consent applications, planning applications and pre-applications. A highlight for Charlotte was the production and later adoption of an updated supplementary planning guidance which was a design guide for a conservation area.
At Lichfields, Charlotte works on a variety of planning and development matters including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes in London and the Southeast. Charlotte is involved in heritage and conservation projects and projects which include the development of new garden communities and promoting sites for allocation through the Local Plan examination process.
