Ed is a Senior Economics Consultant with experience working on a range of economic development projects with clients both from the private and public sectors. He has particular expertise in local plan evidence base reports, preparing economic development strategies, and assessing the social and economic impacts of a broad range of development projects. This includes major mixed-use regeneration schemes, as well as nationally significant energy infrastructure projects. Ed joined Lichfields in 2023, having previously worked for a multinational private sector consultancy.
Recent project experience includes preparing Economic Needs Assessments for a range of local planning authorities in the South of England to inform local planning policy, as well as producing an Economic Development Strategy for a region in central England.
