James Robertson

James joined Lichfields as a Senior Economics Consultant in February 2022, bringing with him over 5 years’ experience as an economist and social policy researcher. James offers applied experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods across a range of economic and social research services, delivered on behalf of private and public sector clients. This includes economic impact assessments, employment land reviews, business case development, strategy development, ex-ante studies and appraisals, cost-benefit analysis, and socio-economic research projects.

James also offers expertise in evaluating and assessing a range of social policy interventions, including capturing economic benefits associated with and attributable to programme intervention in line with HM Treasury Green Book guidance. James has expertise in designing and delivering evaluation methodologies, having undertaken over forty evaluations for projects valued at over £200 million.
