Prior to joining Lichfields, Katie completed her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield. Her dissertation explored the influence of stigmatising discourse on identity construction and boundary formation within England’s Private Rental Sector.
As part of Katie's course, she gained experience in a local authority where she saw the process of planning applications, attended site visits and enforcement visits.
Katie is working towards attaining her RTPI chartered membership.
