Justin Gartland

Justin is an experienced planner who advises both private and public sector clients, with particular specialisms in housing, regeneration, logistics, leisure and infrastructure planning. Justin joined Lichfields in 1987. He has worked in the London Office and since 2003, has set up and managed the Manchester and subsequently Leeds offices. Justin has considerable experience as an expert witness having appeared at numerous planning inquiries, hearings and public examinations.

Significant projects include: Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT); Encirc Glass Plant, Chester; Woodsmith Polyhalite Mine, North York Moors and Redcar; East Otley Expansion, Leeds; Tithe Barn Conversion, Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire Dales; Bristol Harbourside Regeneration, Canon’s Marsh, Bristol; Co-Operative Group Headquarters, Manchester; Price’s Candle Factory Site, Bromborough, Wirral.
