Caroline’s experience is wide ranging and diverse, working for both the private and public sectors. She has a proven track record of promoting and negotiating complex projects through plan promotion, pre-application engagement and application stages to maximise the value of assets.

Caroline has a keen interest in urban regeneration, having overseen many town centre schemes across the country in her career, including in Cambridge, Bath, Newbury and Shrewsbury. Many of these schemes have infrastructure at their heart and Caroline enjoys promoting transport projects including Crossrail, HS2 and a guided busway.

Caroline also leads on the
promotion of strategic land across the country, securing site allocations and planning permission for major housing and logistics/warehousing schemes.

Caroline is an experienced expert witness and media commentator. She is a keen advocate for career development, having been national head of planning leading a team of 25 planners in her previous role. She is a Women in Planning mentor.
