Mike is a Senior Planner at Lichfields and a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), having achieved chartered status in May 2025. He holds an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2020.
Mike brings a broad range of planning experience across the residential, commercial, sport and education sectors and has been involved with projects across the UK. He is particularly passionate about projects that deliver lasting regeneration and positive outcomes for local communities. His professional interests include the integration of renewable energy, sustainable development principles, and innovative architectural design to create resilient, future-focused places.
Alongside his project work, Mike is an active contributor to the profession. He serves on the RTPI North West Regional Activities Committee and is a member of the Institute’s Awards Task Force, supporting initiatives that recognise excellence and promote best practice in planning.
