Ryan joined Lichfields as a Planner in 2022 after completing a Master of Planning degree at Newcastle University. Ryan is a chartered member of the RTPI.
Ryan has been involved in a wide variety of public and private sector development projects across Yorkshire. Ryan has prepared appraisals for potential development sites, advising on planning prospects and undertaking pre-application enquiries with Local Planning Authorities. He has undertaken consultation exercises and prepared sequential site assessments to support planning applications for main town centre uses. He has also prepared Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements and Community Consultation Statements, where he has set out the case for development. Ryan has actively liaised with case officers and relevant parties to resolve planning issues to help achieve positive planning decisions.
Ryan has also supported the strategic promotion of housing and employment sites through the preparation of Vision Documents and representations to local plans.
