Brexit: Uncertainty and Opportunity

Brexit: Uncertainty and Opportunity

2016 was a year of significant political change - the country voted to leave the EU and we have a new Prime Minster and Cabinet. The overall impact of voting to leave the EU is currently unclear with different parts of the UK set to be affected in different ways.
With so much uncertainty, Lichfields’ summer Economic Outlook explores the impact a new agreement between the UK and EU will have; the effect on forecast regional economic growth and jobs; and those areas most exposed to a renegotiated trade deal.

With so much uncertainty, it is important for national and local policy makers to take a proactive role in preparing for the risks - and taking advantage of the opportunities – associated with Brexit.
