German Gymnasium
King’s Cross
King's Cross Central Partner Ltd & Argent LLP
Lichfields helped King's Cross Central Partner Ltd & Argent LLP secure approval for alterations and refurbishment of the Grade II listed German Gymnasium at King’s Cross to facilitate its new restaurant use. We advised on the strategy, coordinated the technical reports, and submitted applications for listed building consent and the approval of reserved matters, leading on discussions with Camden Council.
We’re delighted with the result for our client, and to see this once redundant building put to a vibrant new use which is enjoyed by many.
Following a visit to the now up and running new restaurant at the German Gymnasium, Dr Roger Bowdler, Director of Listing for Historic England, commented that it had been “very successfully converted to restaurant use".
