Kingston University

Lichfields has been providing planning and heritage advice to Kingston University since 2005 in connection with its four academic campuses, student accommodation sites and sports facilities.  Our input ranges from small to large site specific projects, as well as helping to inform the University’s longer term Estate Vision. Recent projects include a new sports hall at the Kingston Hill campus, and The Town House, designed by Dublin based Grafton Architects, at the Penrhyn Road campus. Lichfields is now advising on the University’s Estate Vision which seeks to create new flexible facilities to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Each of the University’s campuses has its own challenges and opportunities. We’ve worked closely with the University to secure planning permissions for new high quality, sustainable buildings that will allow for teaching to adapt in the future. We look forward to continuing to assist the University in realising its Estate Vision moving forward.
