This project was a joint venture between Citygrove Securities Plc and Telford and Wrekin Council. This new leisure hub, which is now open, brought forward the first phase of the Southwater Masterplan, commencing the regeneration of Telford Town Centre. The development creates a much needed leisure destination, including a Cineworld 11 screen cinema, an 80 bed Premier Inn Hotel and a range of branded restaurants. The ‘hub’ significantly enhances Telford’s day and night time economy.
This is a great example of public-private sector collaboration to kick start the regeneration of part of Telford Town Centre through a mixed use leisure led scheme.
