Stepping Hill Hospital Emergency and Urgent Care Campus

Lichfields was appointed by Tilbury Douglas Construction Limited on behalf of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a new extension to the Emergency and Urgent Care Campus [EUCC] at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. The development forms part of a wider proposal to refurbish the EUCC and bring the accommodation up to modern standards where the clinical excellence of the operations can be protected. The objective is to provide a modern efficient and effective EUCC that can continue to serve the existing community for years to come.

Lichfields worked closely with Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and the project team to secure planning permission for this contemporary extension. The development will result in a significant enhancement of the existing façade and an improved appearance of the building, in what is a key gateway location within the hospital site.
