The King’s School

The King’s School has a proud history which forms the bedrock of the current modern and dynamic school. The School was founded in 1541 by King Henry VIII and has developed and grown ever since.
Located within the Green Belt, south of Chester City Centre, Lichfields delivered planning permission for a highly sustainable new infant school.
Lichfields was able to demonstrate the positive impact the project would have from an economic, social and environmental perspective and justify the very special circumstances for the development.

Lichfields successfully guided the School through the complex requirements of applying for planning permission in the Green Belt.  Their professionalism, in depth knowledge, attention to detail and advice at each step gave the School considerable confidence and achieved a positive planning outcome for two significant built developments at the School.
