Whilst working for Lichfields, our staff have access to, and are entrusted with, information relating to both Lichfields and its clients. Staff must agree as a condition of employment to treat all such information on a private and confidential basis. They agree not, at any time, to disclose to any person whatsoever, misuse, record, or make copies of any information which they have acquired in the course of their work. They must also agree to use reasonable endeavours to prevent the unauthorised publication or disclosure of any such confidential information.
All information supplied by our clients is accepted on a strictly confidential basis, and no such information is communicated to third parties without the express agreement of our client.
Planning professionals are also made aware of jobs they are working on where the company has signed confidentiality agreements and the implications of any such agreement on working practices.
Staff are happy to discuss any specific issues with clients about confidentiality and the implications of our work. This may occur where there is no formal confidentiality agreement in place but where we are aware it’s a sensitive project presented to us as a private and confidential commission.
