RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2023
20 Nov 2023Lichfields is looking forward to this year’s RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence. The awards showcase the best plans, people and projects and the positive contribution planning professionals make to communities. This year, Lichfields is shortlisted for three projects in two categories.
One Strawberry Lane has been shortlisted in the ‘Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy’ category. It is now Home Group’s new headquarters with co-working and meeting space for the City’s community and voluntary sector organisations.
In the ‘Excellence in Planning for Communities category', Lichfields has two projects in the running. The first is Hamminkeln Place, where community engagement was key to unlocking the potential of this former car showroom site, for 71 high quality new affordable homes. The second is Woodford Garden Village, a new sustainable community being developed by Redrow on the former Woodford Aerodrome, to the south of Stockport.
These great projects reflect our clients’ commitment to doing things really well, and we are proud of the part we have played in helping them do that.
