Alison is an experienced planner based in Lichfields Manchester office having relocated from London in 2022.
Alison works across a range of development sectors and has extensive experience leading small through to large scale projects through the planning process. Recent project experience includes a sustainable deep retrofit and extension of an office building in the City of London; supporting McDonald’s new restaurant programme across the UK and; advising on planning strategies for bringing forward large residential sites in the NW.
Alison has gained particular expertise in commercial and retail planning work with a focus on town centre regeneration. This includes experience in urban housing and bringing forward city centre masterplans, whilst making the case for tall buildings in sensitive heritage contexts. Alison has recently also advised private sector clients on delivering high street funding schemes to unlock the regeneration of wider city centre sites.
Alison is also responsible for providing general planning and development advice; co-ordinating largescale planning applications and managing large multidisciplinary teams.
