Rebecca Caines

Rebecca re-joined Lichfields in the Manchester office in May 2022, having worked for the developer Knight Dragon for two years where she was Head of Planning. Rebecca has over 16 years’ planning experience specialising in major regeneration and masterplan schemes. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the planning field and has a strong understanding of other disciplines which feed into the planning process. Her experience includes the 2015 and 2019 Masterplan at Greenwich Peninsula, redevelopment of Chobham Farm (Stratford); a new community including intergenerational housing at Oakfield, Swindon; redeveloping the listed Gloucester Prison for residential development; and redevelopment of the Former Thamesteel site in Sheerness.
She has co-ordinated, submitted and project managed numerous planning applications, negotiated s106 Agreements, advised on CIL payments, as well as promoting sites through the Local Plan process. Rebecca currently works for a range of clients including Knight Dragon, Taylor Wimpey, Green Frog Energy and Story Homes and previously worked with Lendlease, L&Q, St William and Nationwide.
