Columbus Tower

Project

Columbus Tower

Canary Wharf, Tower Hamlets
Greater London Authority

We prepared a detailed audit of the Daylight and Sunlight Assessment submitted in support of this 63 storey tower for the Mayor of London. The analysis included a review of the assessment, its methodology and interpretation of the BRE guidance. Our advice informed the Mayor’s decision to grant planning permission for the development following his recovery of the application from Tower Hamlets.

This was the first strategic planning application in London to be taken over by the Mayor. We were very pleased to inform the decision making process in our role as daylight and sunlight advisors.
