Consequences Study
Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council
Lichfields was appointed by Sefton MBC to prepare a Consequences Study to inform the development of the Council’s Local Plan. The study considered the social, economic and environmental consequences associated with three alternative development options being considered by the authority. This study was updated in 2015 with the latest socio-economic information and Local Plan development options.
The study was undertaken exactly to the tender brief and to the agreed timetable and was produced to the very highest standards. Throughout the process Lichfields’ staff were helpful, supportive and flexible. The final study findings and how they were derived were presented in an understandable way and will comprise an essential part of the evidence base to inform Sefton's emerging Core Strategy. Based on my experience I would strongly recommend other local authorities to consider using Lichfields for similar studies both now and in the future.
