Lichfields provided heritage planning services to help clothing retailer END deliver their first flagship store in a prominent listed building in Newcastle City Centre. We provided advice to END on the conversion of the upper floors of the building to retail use in a way which would balance the historic interest of the building with modern retailing requirements. We prepared heritage and planning assessments to accompany and justify the application scheme. Working closely with END and the Council, we successfully obtained listed building consent for the store which is now famous for its exclusive brand and limited edition product launches.

We are delighted that we were able to help END deliver a flagship store selling high-end global clothing brands in Newcastle. The building has been successfully restored and the store is a great addition to the City Centre.
