Working on one of the country’s most prestigious and high profile infrastructure projects of the past decade was hugely rewarding.  Our appointment reflected our ability to employ a dedicated team of experts focused on delivering client objectives. Lichfields provided planning support on the initial enabling works package for the nuclear power station, which included advising on a Harbour Empowerment Order and Transport and Works Act Order applications for a temporary jetty; managing consultation responses on the submitted proposals; and, preparing key documents in advance of the Inquiry.

Whilst the Government’s decision to commit to the project may have been somewhat protracted, the positive planning decisions were delivered on schedule, reflecting the efforts and expertise of the Lichfields team.
