Mariner Street

Varsity Projects asked us to prepare and submit a major planning application for a new 21 storey student housing scheme in the heart of Swansea.  The scheme, part of a wider £50 million redevelopment opposite High Street railway station, contains 750 bedspaces across two wings and shopping facilities on the ground floor. The redevelopment needed to take account of the historic importance of its surrounding area, given that the grade I listed Swansea Castle is close by, and the site lies within a conservation area.  The scheme was approved summer 2016.
