RBKC New Homes Delivery Programme
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea New Homes Team
The Council’s New Homes Delivery Programme will deliver 600 new homes on Council-owned sites, including 300 social rent homes and other community and employment facilities. Lichfields has advised on Phase 1 sites at Kensal Road, Acklam Road and Hewer Street during construction.
Lichfields has also worked on Phase 2 and 3 sites at Edenham, Silchester Arches and Latymer Community Church assisting with pre-application discussions and submitting planning and listed building consent applications. We have also assisted in coordinating and attending the public consultation events prior to submission.
Specialist heritage, townscape and visual impact, and daylight and sunlight services were also provided on some of these projects.
We have used our development management know-how to assist the New Homes Delivery Programme and contractor teams in their negotiation with their local planning authority colleagues to help smooth the passage of these important developments.
We have longstanding experience of working in RBKC and we are delighted to be assisting the Council in the direct delivery of much needed new homes.
