Serving a population of around 2.7 million people across an area of 9,400 square kilometres Northumbrian Water provides water and sewage services to the North East of England. Lichfields helps ensure the security of water supplies and sewage treatment by securing planning permissions and advising on permitted development rights affecting Northumbrian Water’s operational infrastructure including 57 water treatment works, 418 sewage treatment works and 29,724 kilometres of sewers.
