We secured 356 hectares of land for our client in North West Cardiff, where an exciting new urban extension will deliver 7,000 new homes and introduce 3,000 new jobs. With a view to speeding up the process, we’ve already secured planning permission for 1,000 new homes on the first two phases of the site, and we’re awaiting a decision from Cardiff Council on our plans for the remaining 6,000 houses.

But that’s not the whole story. From the start, we wanted Plasdwr to offer a model of sustainable development, as well as meeting a significant percentage of Cardiff’s future housing needs. As the site unfolds, a new district centre and schools, up-to-the-minute facilities and inspiring open spaces are set to transform the lives of all who live in the community.

The allocation and planning permissions we’ve achieved at Plasdwr are the culmination of many years’ work. This Strategic Site is a crucial element of the Vision for Cardiff and its role as the economic driver of the City Region.
