Solar Farm Acquisition

Lichfields assisted ITP Energised by completing due diligence services for Alpha Real Capital, purchasing 16 operational solar farms within the UK.

The output of our work comprised a ‘Risk Register’ with a compliance summary report for each site. These stated each site’s compliance with planning conditions and any outlying risks which would affect the costs associated with the sites’ planning obligations to inform the purchase price of each solar farm.

Our initial advice was followed by a second phase of work comprising detailed site appraisals to assess the risks associated with securing planning permission for extensions to the lifetime of the operational solar farms.
