West Horsley Place

West Horsley Place, a Grade I listed Tudor mansion of great historical significance, was at risk due to decades of neglect and under-investment. Our heritage team’s conservation led strategy has been instrumental in revitalising the fortunes of the mansion and buildings within its wider 300-acre estate.

 

We prepared a conservation management plan for the charitable trust set up to carry out the restoration works and manage a year-round arts and culture programme. We also secured the necessary consents to develop ‘The Theatre in the Woods’ – a new 650 seat theatre for Grange Park Opera.
