Equity, diversity and inclusion

Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Team (EDI) are helping us to be more representative of the communities within which we work and plan for in the future.
 
We are committed to providing working environments and cultures where every individual can feel supported, safe, have a sense of belonging and be empowered to achieve their full potential.
 
Our EDI Team has an Operating Plan with 29 commitments to accelerate positive change.

These include maintaining an EDI calendar of events, offering Bank Holiday swaps, providing training on unconscious and conscious bias, and partnering with diverse organisations in property to deepen our commitment to EDI.

We have a dedicated EDI staff group who, working alongside our HR team, work hard to deliver our initiatives, develop new ideas, and raise awareness amongst staff.

We undertake staff surveys on EDI matters and ensure these remain up to date. This involves collecting quantitative and qualitative data so we can monitor performance against our key objective to ensure our Company better reflects the diversity of the communities within which we work.
