Amex House

Project

Amex House

Brighton
American Express

American Express is intrinsically linked to Brighton with its existing UK Headquarters’ building; an iconic feature of the City’s skyline.  Lichfields’ role in securing permission for its replacement was therefore both a sensitive and important one.  The fact that the new building stands now as a prominent City landmark in the Edward Street Quarter is evidence of the successful planning approach adopted.  With the completion of this large-scale complex project in such a constrained urban setting, American Express is able to continue its close association with the City.

Working on such high-profile projects where the outcome is so critical to both a location and the client is hugely rewarding.  We are delighted that we were able to secure permission for the new Headquarters building that will reinforce the links between American Express and Brighton, a partnership that has been so successful for so long.
