Project

ARM

Peterhouse Technology Park, Cambridge
CEG

Our robust economics and Environmental Impact Assessment advice supported ARM in its significant proposals to expand its Cambridge headquarters and create major new state-of-the-art facilities. ARM is the world’s leading provider of computer microprocessor and semiconductor chips, and the £55 million redevelopment in Cambridge will help deliver over 1,000 new jobs.
Lichfields co-ordinated the Environmental Statement submitted with the application, and delivered a detailed economics assessment identifying and assessing the numerous benefits of the scheme, both in Cambridge and nationwide. The comprehensive range of services addressed a number of challenging aspects, including the location of these highly sustainable and innovatively designed series of buildings within the setting of the Cambridge Green Belt, and a desire to create an environment able to attract the very best talent in the technology sector.

We are delighted to support ARM with its expansion in Cambridge. This development will allow ARM to maintain its position as a global market leader, and support the well-established technological ‘Cambridge Cluster’.
