Lichfields provided daylight and sunlight advice on this major mixed use development flanking the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The hybrid development includes 1,100 homes, commercial floorspace and a range of landscaped amenity space. Successive daylight and sunlight audits informed the emerging proposals before we prepared a detailed Environmental Statement chapter and supplementary assessments at the Reserved Matters stage. This included analysis of more than 2,000 windows and 1,200 rooms.
Chobham Farm is a major urban development in a rapidly evolving part of East London. Our daylight and sunlight work helped ensure that the development forms an exemplary development which is successfully stitched into the area’s urban fabric.
