Queens Yard, Hackney Wick

This mixed-use residential development created 143 Build to Rent units, flexible workspace, retail, restaurant, cafe and bar areas. The site is on the fringes of the LLDC area and required detailed daylight, sunlight and overshadowing studies throughout the design and application process.

The development is within a major regeneration area and sees numerous complex constraints to natural light access. The scheme won the New London Architecture Award for best Mixing Project 2020.
