Lichfields developed an HMT Green Book compliant Economic Appraisal and Business Case for unlocking development of a marine industries campus. The work considered alternative scenarios for the Ministry of Defence land, appraising the economic and financial outcomes of each option. We supported negotiations with the Cabinet Office. The project was subsequently awarded £34 million as part of the Plymouth and the South West Peninsula City Deal and became an Enterprise Zone.
Lichfields made a convincing, numerate submission to Government, working to a four week timescale. The financial assistance was subsequently agreed by Government. A very impressive performance by anyone’s standards, and testimony to Lichfields’ in-depth knowledge and credibility.
