DLUHC Planning Casework
Lichfields was very pleased to provide support to DLUHC’s Planning Casework Unit on a range of called-in planning applications and recovered s.78 appeals, working as part of the team to advise the Secretary of State and implement Ministerial decisions. Our support helped the Department to work through its pipeline of cases with the aim of moving towards meeting its 13-week target for decisions whilst also providing professional planning input to inform a set of robust decisions made by the Secretary of State. This work sits alongside Lichfields’ extensive experience assisting development management teams across local government.
Lichfields supported the DLUHC Planning Casework team to help determine a number of outstanding called in applications and recovered appeals. We received an excellent level of service, both in terms of timescales and quality. We were particularly pleased with the customer focus, attention to detail and proposed solutions to achieve quality and robust outcomes.
